Ms. LeVasseur attended RIT college in Rochester NY and studied art. She has traveled and lived in Europe extensively, spending most of her time there in Rapallo, Italy. She began experimenting with glazes and tiles in 1982, determined to become a tile artist. She remembered the wonderful tile and mosaics of Italy and the lengthy life of the tile paintings. They would endure long after canvas paintings were gone. She also recognized the beauty of the tile. We hope you enjoy looking around our website and hope you order from us.
